Dear football friends,
This year, G.S.V.V. The Knickerbockers is proud to present the 37th edition of the International Tournament, also known as IT37! On July 4th, 5th, and (6th), 2025, the sports facilities of the University of Groningen (The Netherlands) will serve as the stage for the football event of the year. This year’s theme will be ‘The Greatest Hits’! We would like to invite you and your team to participate in the largest student football tournament in Europe. Non-students are also warmly welcome! Why Groningen? While the city’s history dates back to 300 BC, Groningen is now a vibrant student city with the youngest population in the Netherlands—one in four residents is a student! We look forward to welcoming you to IT37 in 2025!
With over 600 participants from all over Europe, IT has evolved into THE event you don't want to miss. The combination of football, sportsmanship, and unforgettable parties with live performances and DJs make a stay in Groningen this weekend more than worthwhile. We are currently busy with the preparations to ensure that this football tournament becomes an unforgettable weekend for everyone. It promises to be the highlight of the year, with beautiful memories in store. Of course there will be great facilities like provided breakfast and sleeping accommodations (overnight stay from the 4th till the 6th of July). There is room for a limited number of teams. So, if you want to secure a spot for your team at the most beautiful football tournament of the year, please fill out THIS ENTRY FORM as soon as possible!
We’ve kept the costs for this amazing weekend very affordable! The price is just €54.00 pp if you stay on-site and €46.50 pp if you arrange your own accommodation. Male teams play 11-a-side with a minimum of 15 players, while female teams play 7-a-side with a minimum of 11 players.

- Mannen: reserve 2e klasse of hoger (reserve 3e klasse in overleg);
- Vrouwen: 3e klasse of hoger.
Andere teams verwijzen wij graag door naar het Knockerbicker Toernooi!
